Which mysteries are commonly prayed on this day?
Many Catholics follow a familiar weekly custom when choosing which mysteries to pray. If you are new, you do not need to begin with the day of the week. Start with the mysteries overview and the how-to guide. If you want to follow the customary pattern, this is the set most commonly prayed today.
To pray the Rosary is to enter the life of Christ through the heart of Mary.
Face of Christ Apostolate exists to help people contemplate the face of Christ through the eyes of His Mother, and enter more deeply into His Sacred Heart through Mary's Immaculate Heart.
Welcome
The Rosary is not merely a repetition of prayers. It is a school of contemplation. In its mysteries, we remain with Christ in the company of His Mother and allow those mysteries to shape our minds, hearts, and lives.
This apostolate is for those who want to begin praying the Rosary, return to it, or enter more deeply into its mysteries. For many visitors, the best path is simple: first learn what the Rosary is, then learn the mysteries, then learn how to pray the Rosary, and finally keep the prayers close at hand.
What is Face of Christ Apostolate?
It is a Catholic apostolate devoted to the Holy Rosary as a path from vocal prayer into meditation, contemplation, and deeper union with Jesus through Mary.
The aim is simple: to help souls understand the Rosary rightly, pray it well, and be drawn more deeply into the mysteries of Christ.
What Makes This Apostolate Distinctive
A central feature of this apostolate is a simple method of meditation within the Hail Mary. A brief phrase may be added after the name of Jesus so that each prayer remains fixed on the Gospel scene and becomes more consciously Christ-centered and contemplative.
The site also gives particular attention to the Rosary as a path from vocal prayer into mental prayer and, for some souls, into a more contemplative life of recollection and love. That path remains ordered toward the sacramental life of the Church, above all toward deeper Eucharistic love and communion with Christ.
Invitation
Whether you are new to the Rosary or have prayed it for many years, you are welcome here. Come and learn to contemplate the face of Christ with Mary.
