About

The mission, character, and spiritual identity of Face of Christ Apostolate.

Face of Christ Apostolate was founded with a simple purpose: to spread devotion to the Holy Rosary as a way of contemplating the face of Christ through the eyes of His Mother and entering more deeply into His Sacred Heart through Mary's Immaculate Heart.

This is a private Catholic lay apostolate. It is not presented as an official diocesan ministry, but as a humble work of devotion and instruction that seeks to remain faithful to the teaching of the Church.

The apostolate is deliberately humble in its Marian character. Mary always points to Jesus. The Rosary is therefore presented here not as an end in itself, but as a way of being led more fully to Christ.

It is also spiritually entrusted to Saint Joseph, whose quiet fidelity, hidden strength, and reverent protection of Our Lady and the Christ Child make him a fitting patron for the apostolate. As he once watched over Jesus and Mary in the hidden school of Nazareth, so this work is entrusted to his fatherly care.

The purpose of this work is not novelty, but fidelity: to help people pray the Rosary well, love it more deeply, and be formed by the mysteries of Christ.

Its particular service is simple and specific: to present the Rosary clearly, reverently, and contemplatively, especially as a path from vocal prayer into meditation and deeper prayer.

Its charism is not to replace the Church's public teaching, nor to create a new devotion, but to help souls enter more deeply into the Gospel mysteries through the Holy Rosary, with special attention to Christ-centered meditation, recollection, and the progression from vocal prayer toward deeper prayer.

For that reason, Face of Christ Apostolate seeks to serve souls at every stage: those who are beginning the Rosary for the first time, those returning to it after neglect, and those who already love it and want to enter more deeply into its contemplative riches.

In that spirit, the site aims to remain reverent, doctrinally grounded, beautiful, and genuinely useful.

About this work

Face of Christ Apostolate is a private Catholic lay apostolate maintained by Richard Jaconette as a work of devotion and instruction. It is offered in fidelity to the teaching of the Catholic Church and under the ordinary pastoral life of the Church, especially through the sacramental life.

This site does not claim official diocesan status or magisterial authority. Its purpose is simply to help souls pray the Rosary more faithfully, contemplate Christ more deeply, and remain close to the life of grace in the Church.
